the all-american rejects, brought to you by digi. :D

the demand for the all american rejects concert not-for-sale tickets is getting higher and higher by the day. decided to help a few people get theirs.
went to ou with minghan and suzen for the tickets and lunch.

at the digi stall thing, their sim packs were completely sold out. same at the digi centre on the lower ground floor. we bought the digi sim packs from this small mobile phone shop on floor B1 and went back up to the digi stall to get the tickets.

13 sim packs, to be exact. eheh. had to leave the sim packs with them for them to register.

went to mark's laksa for lunch cause suzen and i were absolutely broke after getting those sim packs.
haven't been there in a while, their laksa kicks chow yang pasar malam's laksa stall's ass.

happy. i miss penang food.

suzen's curry laksa.

i got all her seeham (cockles). nyeheahehahahahdauhuaheuhaeue.

and minghan was nerding cause he's got an exam tomorrow O.o

went back up to the digi stall to get our tickets.
had to wait a while more cause they weren't done with the registering yet.

wawaweewa, 13 tickets to the all-american rejects concert.

suzen, helping beatrice and travis get their tickets. lol.

and i was helping mei, munyi, cheryl, ashvin, sieuminn, sieuee, ed, yoke and jian.

minghanm getting tickets for himself and mingyue.

sorry. iJakun. first concert. :P

and btw,
all you have to do is buy a digi sim pack at RM 8.50 (unless you decide to get a nicer number) and head over to the digi stall opposite xixili/jack's place/nike in one utama to get your sim pack registered and your aar tickets.
no additional charges whatsoever.

too good to be true, sometimes i just wonder whether someone will suddenly come out of no where and announce the catch live on CNN or something.
or E!, since more people (in terms of people going for the concert anyway) watch that channel.

so far so good, i hope.

heh heh heh i am very happy happy happy.

malaysian edition, but lady gaga nontheless.

okay, since i shall be spending a whole day out on the tenth,
i shall be a good girl and stay away from all forms of distraction and study to prove that i deserve to go and give my parents no reason to forbid me from going.

so i shall be on full blown hiatus till the tenth. sorry. ;)

i can't sleep.

pouts and throws tantrum.

i've been sleeping at about 11ish for the past month or so, mostly cause i've just been dead tired for no good reason. but tonight of all nights, my brain refuses to loose itself to my usual dreamless (otherwise nightmare filled) nights. i've been tossing and turning since 1145. it's 2 am now. i've got no idea why i'm so restless, but all i know is that lady gaga songs keep playing at random in my head. it's not like i'm mulling over my regrets in life and what could've been, should've been, would've been. nope, i'm just listening to the little lady gaga on my left shoulder going 'bang, bang, we're beautiful and dirty rich'.

yeah, maybe that's a regret, it you can classify it as one. =.=

shit. i need nail polish remover.

driving on my own, for the first time :D

so as most of you guys know,
i passed my recent driving exam after failing the 3pt turn twice.
so after driving around with my dad next to me for about a week,
i was allowed to drive on my own.

and in case you guys were wondering,
this is olga, the opel zafira. :D
well not THAT one specifically, but yeah, that car that colour.

my mom was off for a wedding dinner and my dad was off to play squash,
so i was to get my own dinner that night.

picked up mei (haha, first to sit my car) and minghan next.
took a while to decide where to eat,
ended up at this place again. heh.

i really love the black noodles (suzen hates them).
*old pic.

suzen was next door at the teowchew porridge place, so she came over to join us.
had to drop minghan home cause he needed to study for his upcoming exam.
so with suzen in the front seat (cause she can drive, legally) and mei in the back,
we drove around bu, and eventually i got bored and wanted dessert.
took them to dessert bar, mont kiara.
thank god for the pencala link,
it takes me 2 minutes to get back to taman tun!

i thought dessert bar was celebrating chinese new year a little too early.

you know, with all this deco and this emo emo kinda music, it makes me feel like i'm on the set for one tree hill.
omg yeaaaa i was just about to say that!

suzen's crepe with chocolate ice cream.

mei's cheese brownie.

my strawberry charlotte,
which was kinda like a jell-o0ed up verson of strawberry cheesecake.

ahaha, the two special ones who got to sit in my car :P
my driving aint that bad right? it's just minghan and my mom who kancheongs.

i think mei should be a photographer, seriously.

why is it that the stuff i take pictures of nowadays looks like it's got a moon in the way? -.-

disclaimer: no one was hurt,
no cars were scratched and no one (except minghan) panicked while i was driving.
neither did anyone honk me (maybe cause there were barely any cars) or flipped the finger at me.

apparently my dad didnt get me when i told him i was gonna get my own dinner,
when i came home and told him that i successfully parked the car,
he stopped a bit and said, 'why didnt you ask permission to drive?'
yeah i dont think he noticed that olga was gone. lol.

it's back to school tomorrow, kids.
tick tock, spm students, look at the countown below the blog header.
pmr students, thank you for continuously visiting my blog but shame on you, go cram some sejarah, geo (damn i miss geo) and science into your pmr heads and enjoy it while it lasts. -.-

planning to go on hiatus,

ho jiak rip off x)

went to the chowyang (kayu nasi kandar ss2) pasar malam yesterday with minghan.
it's been along time since i've been there, i think the last time i went there was with cassandra, jaclyn and my sister when i was still in primary school.

note to self: i gotta learn how to use denise properly soon.
you'll see what i mean by my pictures really suck in this post :/

anyway, there was so much food! heh.
of course, for minghan to survive this pasar malam trip,
we needed minghan's solution to everything: coke.

started off by walking one round to see what they've got.
stopped by this sausage stall.
was very VERY tempted to buy the 'extra spicy' sausage but i decided otherwise.

got the honey one instead.

laici and soyabean pudding.

it was alright la. not sweet enough for me heh.
i look like jonny depp as willy wonka here -.-

met naomi and aunty (puan) cheng at this stall.
i had no idea what on earth this was and wanted to give it a try.

that is,
until he ate it and told me that the egg was runny.
ewwww i cannot CANNOT eat runny eggs. no kidding.

and the only form of vegetables minn eats, chai koey.

heh, we both LOVE muaci.

apom manis.

i buy 2 ya.
(thinking he was gonna buy 2 ringgit) oh okay.
nah. *hands the plastic bag with 2 pieces inside.

tapaued some leng chi kang for his family.

went looking for the laksa truck.
heh. the guy in blue scolded me for not knowing how to speak canto or mandrin.
ended up speaking bm to him which wasnt any better.

bluddy hell you sell penang laksa, learn some freaking hokkien la okay.

laksa kosong. heh.
apparently they changed people since the last time i went there,
no wonder the loooooong tapau line was missing.

washed everything down with some air mata kuching.
the same aunty/uncle goes to taman tun and bangsar pasar malam.

wow, the coke really works.

dulan faced after spilling some of it onto my feet. sticky. yuck.

felt like a jakun tourist taking pictures in the middle of the road.
better yet, i felt like the chick from that 8tv show, ho jiak.

great, now i'm hungry.

sun, sand and crabs wtf at sepang gold coast.

i've already missed two trips to sepang gold coast with ANC,
so minghan decided to take me there yesterday. :D

dropped my grandparents off at ou and headed to bangsar first.
dropped me off to walk around the telawi street boutiques
while he handled some stuff at HELP.

and he left his debit card with me.
*cues gold digger by kanye west.

didnt (want to) use it and i didnt buy much anyway, a top and a scarf.
the rest were bought at nichii on monday with my mom :D

but there was this reaaaaaallllyyyyyy nice pair of brown heels at mydressroom.

they were so sexy,
made my legs look so sexy..
..that i wanted to hump my own legs.

mhmm. but to buy them would mean that i would've blown my budget for the day.
sigh. what would life be like to buy anything i want, i'd very much like to know.

surprised minghan with some haagen dazs when he came to pick me up at 2.
try this flavour, berry cream. weLike, very very much.

so we started our 1 hour 15 minute journey to sepang.
doris! :))

i'm getting a tan on my right arm.
see? scarves are useful in malaysia. sometimes.

after getting lost once, nearly missing turnings about 3 times,
we got to sepang gold coast at about 3.30.

sepang gold coast is bringing the dubai palm to malaysia.
it's all villas, kinda like hotels and all.

prices start from 750k, depending on which villa you buy.
fully furnished and air conditioned, though.

they'll be done building by the end of the year.
one of uncle hokseng's colleagues took us around in a buggy.

heh the last time i was on one of these was when i was at clearwater resort. mhmm.

yeah, i'm not a big fan of construction sites.

the ceiling of what would be the clubhouse, right in the middle of the branches.

yup, apparently they've made much progress since the last time minghan was there.

there're 4 showrooms, which sgc's employees could use for now.

we got to use the ivory, the second in the range. i think. 1.7 mil?

but it's super pretty inside la, seriously.
3 rooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 hall.
a very, uhm, romantic master bedroom setting.

and this picture really doesnt do their masterbedroom toilet any justice.
the toilet looked more like a walk in closet than anything else. *whimpers.

the other bedroom.

and the large balcony (i heard the real estate agent saying that heh heh).

the view from the balcony's pretty awesome,
just don't look down if you've got a big fear of heights.

i forgot to take pictures of the other bathroom,
and you'll see the last room in a bit.

after gaga-ing over the villas for a while, we left our stuff there and went to the beach.
i need a tan.
i mean look at that. LOOK AT THAT.
i'm like roasted chicken at the legs
and pak cham kai (steam white chicken) everywhere else.

didnt do much tanning cause i forgot to bring a picnic blanket -.-,
walked around the private beach more.

low tide that afternoon. mhmm. the water usually goes up to the rocks.

and i saw so many crabs.
there were MILLIONS of em.

caught one, it kept trying to crawl off my hand.

started looking for more.

and more.

eventually i got tired of looking at the crabs
so i started throwing wet sand at them.
see those dots at the sides of the water?
those're the crabs. look like fire ants ugh.

heh. angry angry crab. there, there.

heh. iLike.

thanks honey for being my photographer and kuli while i chased the crabs into their holes.

got back to the villa for a light shower.
funny how we both KO-ed.
they converted the 3rd room into some sort of living room, so yeah. he slept there.

and i slept in the living hall.
yes i was wearing something okay look properly. -.-

woke up and did some camwhoring with richards' help.
heh its quite scary sitting up there la okay.

and it's even scarier sitting like THAT. O.O

finally, a good picture. :D

haha apek!

left the villa at about 6.
uncle hokseng's secretary, marcia came to get us.

i like sitting at the back.

i think doris enjoyed the ride too. :D

took us to the restaurant by the beach.
hey, it's called sunset beach for a reason okay?

went to the beach to play some more while waiting for the food.
nope, not yet.
see how much the tide came in?

yeah, almost there.

heh, thank you richards.

KO face x)

seafood spaghetti.

grilled beef penne.

by the time we finished our main course,
the sun was setting.

then.. the sun decided that it was funny to hide behind the huge-ass cloud. -.-

oh well..
the pretty sky made up for it anyway.

ah, good enough a sunset picture. heh.

the lamp looks like the moon, doesnt it?

had our desert as it turned dark,
black bread and butter pudding.

thanks uncle hokseng for dinner! :)

okay, last one.
bamboo tunnel. :)

thanks honey for driving me all the way there.

mwax. =}*

oh i almost forgot,
richards and the sunset.

wink. i know i'm lame, you can shoot me when you see me.

and if you stil don't get it (yeehua), here's a clue:
my camera's name is denise.

by the way,
fresh blogger! (kinda)
check out mark the best friend's boyfriend's blog.
