wanna be an ed boarder 09?

come one, come all!

WE, the edboarders of 08, are now scouting for the new faces of edboard '09.

what do you have to be?

` a student of SMK Damansara Utama

` form 2, form 3, OR form 4 (2009),

` someone who can work in a team
` reliable, responsible and dedicated

(meet datelines, no last minute nonsense, that kinda shizznitz la)

The few departments are as below :

*Finance Team

we're looking for someone who:
` is convincing. remember, you're someone who's gonna tell a company why they want to sponsor your magazine
` works hard. it ain't easy.
` meets deadlines. eh money very important one okay. it's the base of the mag.
` is responsible with money. we're talking thOuSanDs here. ;)

*Photography Team :)

I (in particular) am looking for someone who:

` isn't shy. you gotta stand up during assembly to take photos

` has a camera. doh. and has complete freedom to use it

` takes pictures with COMMON SENSE. 

HALO NO FINGERS OR PPL STANDING IN UR WAY OKAY. I HATE THAT. NO EDITING!

` has complete access to the internet.

`doesn't mind skipping classes but doesn't take advantage of this privilege either.

` is good at coordinating and had good crowd control (optional)

*Graphic Team

we're looking for someone who:

` can use and does good stuff with adobe Photoshop. 

` is creative. you're the designer of the entire mag!

` has 100% access to computer. unless you can find another way to use adobe then be my guest.

` DEADLINE FREAK. THIS IS A MUST.

*Features Team

we are looking for someone who:

` speaks well.

` writes well.

` is creative, in terms of writing.
`can think of good features, ie polls, surveys, articles. no ripping of the internet kaythxbai.

it's all about the LANGUAGE.
every word written would be read by the approx. 4k students of SMKDU. 

no pressure.

every year, we strive to be better than the years before us. standards are, obviously, raised for that very purpose. 
ed board's not all about the magazine as well.
it's something that helps you build your tolerance (or break it, sometimes :P) and learn to work with other people despite your disagreements and conflicts and problems and whatever other nonsense.
oh and did i forget to mention? 
it'll look awesome on your CV. resume. whatever. ;)
